Harold “Mickey” Gire

Harold "Mickey" Gire, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Irene Gire; beloved son of the late Theodore and Gladys Gire; devoted father of Pam (Bill) Troutman, Diane (Bob) McMillan, and Jeff (Angie) Gire; dear brother of Rosemary Ott, Jan Kayan, and Beth Rowe; cherished grandfather of Melissa (Ricky) Hoelting, Eric (Anna) McMillan, Sarah (Will) Lammering, Jeremy Troutman, Aaron McMillan, Emily (Chris) Payne, and Logan Gire; treasured great-grandfather of Nick, Kye, Maverick, Jhett, Brady, KayLee, and Owen. Mickey is also preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Gire.



Mickey proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Boeing after 35 years as a dedicated employee. Mickey was an active member at NorthRoad Community Church. He was always outside in the yard or working on projects around the house, he never sat idle. His family remembers many great trips fishing at Woman Lake in Minnesota. He loved his family dearly, was a dedicated husband to Irene for 60 years, proud father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He set the bar high for being a family man. He loved his family with all his heart. Mickey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
