Harold Richard Schultz, age 84, of Wentzville, Missouri, October 24, 2017. Beloved husband of 64 wonderful years to Roberta L. Schultz; cherished son of the late Othie and Ferneta Schultz; devoted father of Kimberly L. (James) Pitcher, Sheryl A. (Dan) Wilmes, and Lori A. (Jamie) Carter; loving grandfather of Zach (Jackie) Pitcher, Ben Pitcher, Dusty (Lara) Wilmes, Jordan (Alicia) Wilmes, Sam Wilmes, Wes (Megan) Carter, Justin (Nikki) Carter, and Lauren Carter; great-grandfather of Colby Wilmes, Nolie Wilmes, Easton Wilmes, Kiley Wilmes, and Bailey Wilmes; dear brother of Mary Jo Bolin, Michael Schultz, and Andrea Trombley. Harold is preceded in death by his treasured granddaughter, Casey Johannah Wilmes.

Harold proudly served his country with honor in the Army during the Korean War, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion of O’Fallon, the VFW of St. Charles, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Harold was a devoted Christian, and celebrated his love of the Lord at Wentzville Christian Church. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time outdoors and tending to the local wildlife, and he enjoyed carpentry, and working as a draftsman. Nothing gave him as much joy however, as being with his family. Harold will be remembered for his great sense of humor and the wonderful stories he told, and was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Harold’s honor to Wentzville Christian Church.
