Harold W. Branson

May 23, 1925 — June 15, 2018

Harold W. Branson, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 72 years to Lee E. Branson; cherished son of the late Francis W. and Florence Branson; devoted father of Harold W. Branson, Jr. and Bonnie L. Morad; proud grandfather of Lee Ella (Alex) Morad-Mackay and Paul J. Morad, Jr.; loving great-grandfather of Michael Mackay; and treasured brother of William F. Branson. He was also a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Henry, Henrietta Kellems, Gloria Wilpert, and Shirley Johnson.

Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the 3rd Armored Division 33rd Regiment Company “G”. During his service, Harold was the recipient of 4 Bronze Star Medals and spent time in captivity as a POW. He married the love of his life, Lee, on March 12, 1946 in Hillsboro, Missouri. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
