Harry “Russ” Appel

Appel, Harry "Russ", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the age of 74. Loving husband of the late Winnie M. Appel; beloved son of the late Harry A. and Flora C. Appel; devoted father of Jim (Donna Goodwin) Appel and Kris (Chris) Parker; cherished grandfather of Sydney and Nick; dear brother of Mae Fowler; special friend of Diane Spann; loving brother-in-law of Diane (the late Jim) McPeak; adored uncle of Randy McPeak and Keith McPeak. He is preceded in death by his siblings Mildred Pierce and "Bud" Appel. Russ liked to go hunting and fishing. He loved horses, traveling, and attending his grandkids sport events.
