Harry C. Brakefield

Brakefield, Harry C., of Cuba, Missouri, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the age of 86. Dear husband of Teresa Brakefield NEE McGuirk, dear son of the late James "Mack" and Frankie L. Brakefield; devoted father of Rose (Richard) Walters, Anthony (the late Chris Jean) Brakefield and Cynthia (Donald) DuBois; beloved grandfather of Jamie (Jeff) Hatfield, Ryan Brakefield, Jon Brakefield, Clayton Laramie, Colin Laramie and Caity Rose Laramie; great-grandfather of Kaley Hatfield and Clayton Hatfield. He was a beloved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. He was employed as a Supervisor at Ford Motor Company for 36 years before his retirement, enjoyed telling jokes and fishing and was a member VFW Post 7147 in Cuba, MO. Memorials may be made to St. Peters Cultural Arts Center or The Chris Brakefield Memorial Dance Scholarship.
