Harry Drinen of St. Peters, MO, passed Saturday May 26, 2018, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 42 years to Maxine Kay Drinen; cherished son of the late Helen J. and Harry L. Drinen, Sr.; loving brother-in-law of Glenn (Dottie) Gercken, Darlene Hilsabeck, and John (Barbara) Gercken; treasured uncle of Bonnie Heath; and dear cousin of Nelda Kuhlman and Gary Sims. Harry was also preceded in death by his sister, his nephew Garland Gale Nash (Pauline Survives), and Niece Norma R. Nash.
Harry proudly served in the United States Army. He then dedicated many years at McDonell Douglas as a hydraulic press operator, and then as a material handler. He was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran for more than 40 years and very active in early morning Bible study. In his younger years Harry enjoyed keeping fit and weight lifting. He was a creative soul who loved music; he practiced violin and later the organ and was an accomplished artist. Harry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
