Dear husband of the late Lorraine Evelyn Hertling; dear son of the late Harry J. and the late Stella Hertling; loving father of Jeanne E. Sims; cherished grandfather of Dina Michelle Bradford and Darren Michael Sims; proud great-grandfather of Christopher Michael Bradford, Jonathan Wesley Bradford, and Joshua David Bradford; dear brother of Edward J. Hertling; beloved uncle and friend. He was retired from Carter Carberator in St. Louis, Missouri as a Fuel System Engineer. He was also retired from Outboard Marine Corp. He was involved with the American Legion, St. Charles. He was a devoted member of St. John UCC, St. Charles.
