Harry Parsons

Parsons, Jr., Harry, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the age of 91. Loving husband of Louise Parsons NEE: Luffel; beloved son of the late Harry and Lillian Parsons; devoted father of Eugene (Janet Guthrie) Parsons and Linda (Andy) Tucker; cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Greg) Shoemaker, Scott Parsons, Cindy (John) Kamler, Aimee Wehmeier and Andy Tucker, Jr.; treasured great-grandfather of Drew and Taylor Shoemaker, Seth, Riley and Sean Tucker; dear step-father of Carol (Larry Morton) Baer and Sue (Joe) Dolan; beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Parsons nee: Townsend and sister, Josephine Parton. Harry was a career officer and proudly served in the United States Air Force during WWII and retired after many years of service as a Major in 1961. He loved playing bridge, hunting, fishing, horses, animals, cooking, shopping and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
