Harry Allen Steele, Jr.

Harry Allen Steele, Jr., of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Linda Steele; beloved son of the late Harry A. Sr., and Eileen Steele; devoted father of Lee (Vickie) Steele, Jenee (Scott) Lieurance, Michelle (Brad) Niehoff, Michael (Janet) Lieurance, Allyn Steele, and Aimee Steele; cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 11; dear brother of John (Linda) Steele, and Joan (Paul) Hanson.

Harry proudly served his country as a navigator in United States Navy. He then went to work at McDonnell Douglas as an electrical engineer and retired from there after many years of service. Harry and his wife owned Linda’s Collectables on Main Street, St. Charles for 20 years. In addition to Linda’s Collectables Harry started a frame shop. Harry was a hardworking and intelligent man. Harry loved being out on the river with family, friends and his first mate Linda. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Harry's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Hydrocephalus Association.
