Dougherty, Harvey, of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann Dougherty; cherished son of the late Virgil and Essie Dougherty; devoted father of Adam (Heather) Dougherty and Garth Dougherty; treasured grandfather of Nicholas and Matthew Sutter.
Harvey graduated from Benton Harbor Community College and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He retired from Kellogg Company as a National Accounts Manager in 2010. Other companies Harvey worked for were General Foods, United Vintners, and Hyland Potato Chip Company in Des Moines.
Harvey had a big personality. He was a people person who never met a stranger. He was a humble may and taught his sons to be as gracious as him. He was dedicated to his work, but his greatest joy was his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
