'Smitty', O'Fallon, MO, December 10, 2004 age 69; loving husband of Jackie Smith; dear dad of Mike & Tina, Charles & Tamara Smith, Darlene L. Smith (mother of Mike and Charles), Mark & Karen, Tim & Barb and Lisa Carpenter; beloved GrandPa of 18, GreatGrandPa of 8, relative and friend to many. Mr. Smith was a 32nd Degree Mason, Masonic Blue Lodge #540, St. Scott Lodge, Lawtin, OK; Scottish Rite, Guthrie, OK; and a member of the Shriners, Salina, Kansas. Mr. Smith served 28 years in the US Army, retiring a a Sargent Major. While serving, he received numberous awards and medals.
