Hazel M. “Dear” Chaffin

Hazel M. 'Dear' Chaffin (nee: James), of Saint Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, January 26, 2015. Loving wife of the late Norman E. Chaffin; beloved daughter of the late Wesley and Josie James; devoted mother of Sharyn (Douglas) Harper and the late Jack Wodke; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Shari) Paxton, Jodi (Darren) Weber, Julie (Jason) Hartwell, Michael Wodke, Raechel Wodke, Jack Wodke, and Josh Wodke; treasured great-grandmother of Scott, Riley, Austin, Layne, Colten, and Caden; dear mother-in-law of Roberta Wodke. She is preceded in death by her siblings Lucille Jaycox, Opal Sieler, and Fielding Sutton.
Hazel enjoyed shopping, and in her spare time like to crochet. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
