Helen C. Pfaff

Memorials may be made to Missouri Nurses Association Scholarship Fund. Helen C. Pfaff of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 97. Dear daughter of the late Julius Pfaff and the late Laura Buehrle Pfaff; dear sister of Agnes Achelpohl, Julius Pfaff, Jr., Mary Lou Orf, the late Ethel Bybell and the late Richard Pfaff; dearest aunt and great-aunt. Helen was an R.N., M.P.H, and was the 1981 recipient of the W. Scott Johnson Award. She was director of the Bureau of Public Health Nursing for the Missouri Division of Health. As a native of St. Charles, Helen completed training at St. Luke's School of Nursing in St. Louis and received a B.S. Degree in Public Health Nursing from Peabody College and the M.P.H. Degree from Michigan University's School of Public Health.
