Helen DeClue Montalbano

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society and Pathways Hospice. Helen DeClue Montalbano, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late A.J. Montalbano; also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas R. and Marie Butler DeClue and brother, Thomas DeClue; devoted mother of Sharon M. Tebbe and Richard T. (Connie) Montalbano; cherished grandmother of Lisa M. (John Powell) Tebbe, John A. (Kimmy) Tebbe, Christine A. (Alan) Benson and Elizabeth A. (Tim) McKernan and great-grandmother of Mia L. and Lola M. Tebbe and Henry T. Benson. Helen was a graduate of Fontbonne College and taught school at St. Gregory. She also worked at J.C. Penny in Accounting. Helen was a cancer survivor of over 40 years. She was an outgoing and caring person who truly enjoyed her family and friends.
