Helen H. Dirck

Helen H. Dirck (nee Dougherty), of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Edwin L. Dirck; cherished daughter of the late James E. and Alpha Hillis Dougherty. Devoted mother of Linda D. (Thomas) Hennessy, Edwin L. (Catherine) Dirck Jr., and Sheila R. (Daniel) James; loving grandmother of Thomas (Angela) Hennessy, Edwin (Karlee) Dirck, III, and Matthew Dirck; treasured great-grandmother of Sarah, Sean, Devin, Kaitlynn, Ryker, Jaxon, Athena; dear sister of Juanita Thatham, Della Blecha, Patricia Anderson, William Dougherty, Malcolm Dougherty, Beverly Hake, Doris Lehmann, loving aunt, cousin & friend. Preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Belle Anderson, Virginia Green, Alpha Jane Dougherty, and Freda Davis and brother, James Dougherty. 

Helen cherished sharing a good meal with friends and family, always looking forward to these gatherings. She had a warm heart and a natural gift for caregiving. Her passions included decorating, gardening, shopping, and organizing, and she took great pride in her vibrant flower garden. Helen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
