Helen Eileen Mildred Ferrell

Helen Eileen Mildred Ferrell (nee: Puckett) of Florissant, MO, went home to the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016, at the age of 83.  Loving wife of the late E. B. Ferrell; beloved daughter of the late Howard A. and Myra Puckett; devoted mother of Michelle (Tim) Burke, Melissa Shelton, and the late Shari Ferrell; cherished grandmother of Madison Burke, Landon Burke, Carson Burke, Corbin Shelton, Halle, and Skylar; dear sister of Dora Mae (the late Louis) Lloyd, Georgia (the late Alva) Midyett, Virginia Puckett, and Ruth (Arnold) Wade; and dearest sister-in-law of Wilma Jean Puckett and Wilma Joyce Puckett.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Connie (the late Vera) Puckett, Goldie Puckett, Howard Puckett, Jr., and Ralph Puckett.

Helen is remembered as a wonderful and compassionate person.  She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Florissant, MO.  She was an excellent cook, and was known by her grandchildren for her fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches and hotcakes.  She was a wonderful seamstress, and enjoyed tending to her garden of Knockout Roses in the rose garden her husband planted in honor of their daughter, Shari.  She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
