Helen Ann Jones

Helen Ann Jones (nee Allbritten, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Arthur Gene Jones, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late William and Mary Allbritten; devoted mother of Linda (David Koshiba) Jones, Debra (late James) Riley, Arthur Gene Jones, Jr., and Daniel Gene (Jody) Jones; cherished grandmother of Tim (Ashley) Riley, Kirsty (Neil) Strasser, and Evan Jones; treasured great-grandmother of Allyson Riley, Korryn Riley, Theodore Strasser, and Edith Strasser; dear sister of Joseph (Sharon) Heenan. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a devoted friend to many. She had a beautiful heart and soul.

Helen’s first job was at a soda fountain in a drug store. This is where she met her husband and Navy Veteran, Arthur. Helen was a phone operator for Southwestern Bell for many years, she then worked at McDonnell-Douglas as an operator and later at IBM. She was an accomplished baker and enjoyed making pies and other baked goods. Helen loved her family dearly, was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Helen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Helen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
