Helen M. Horkenbach

Memorial contributions may be made to the Natinal Shrine of St. Jude. Horkenbach, Helen M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Raymond A. Horkenbach; loving mother of Joan Knoll and Barb Horkenbach; mother-in-law of Bernard Knoll; cherished grandmother of Mark, Matthew, Christine, Ana and Samantha; great Aunt Helen to Little Eddie and Aunt Dickie to Debbie, Mary Elizabeth, Jim and Elizabeth; dear friend of Pat; sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, neighbor and friend to many. Mrs. Horkenbach is preceded in death by her parents, John and Neva Martin; her sisters, Genevieve, Agnes and Mae and brothers, John, Edward and Eugene. Mom was the definition of a life well lived. She was devoted to us, her family, and often our saving grace. She gave without strings attached and her generosity was unmatched. Her grandchildren kept her young and nothing delighted her more than spending time with them. They were the light in her Irish eyes. When you find a moment, pray a rosary in her honor as she did every day for all of us.
