Helen was the definition of dedicated. If she wanted to do something, she was determined to do it. Even at the age of 90, Helen wanted to learn to play piano and began taking lessons. She was a talented seamstress; always with crochet needles in her hands. She crocheted many afghans and an array of handsewn gifts for family and neighbors over the years. She danced in the chorus line Fabulous Feet for 20 years and sewed every outfit they wore for competitions. Helen was especially interested in genealogy and learning about her German heritage. She remained connected with her distant relatives in Germany. Helen will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor, giving personality, and most of all, as a devoted wife and mother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
