Helen Mae Meyer

Meyer, Helen Mae (nee: Taraski), passed into Heaven at the age of 85 on Sunday January 4, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Thomas Meyer; beloved daughter of the late Michael and Sophie Taraski; devoted mother of Denise (Dave) Ringo, Gregory (Lisa) Meyer, and Vernon (Kathy) Meyer; cherished grandmother of Tommy Mantooth, Tanya Mantooth, Joseph (Brandi) Mantooth, Amanda Rosene, Merrick Meyer, Lauren Meyer, Alexa Meyer, Angie Meyer, Jake Meyer, and Olivia Meyer; treasured great-grandmother of McKayla, Kaitlin, Joey, and Hadley; dear sister of Anne (The Late Mark) Steinberg; loving aunt of Donna (Dave) Hart, Butch Burnett, Tom (Susie) Thomas, Tracy (Simon) Tolkien, Todd (Lisa) Steinberg, and Mark Steinberg. She is preceded in death by her siblings Marie (Victor) Ranchowski, Jackie (Tom) Thomas, and Nick (June) Taraski and her niece Cookie Taraski.
Helen worked at McDonnell Douglas for 34 years where she met many life-long friends. Her greatest joy in her life was her family, she loved watching her children grow and having families of their own. Helen's grandchildren/great grandchildren were her pride and joy and would spend many hours watching their various events. She liked to travel, LOVED the St. Louis Cardinals, bowling, and her trips to Las Vegas.
