Helen Louise Plouder (nee Schenck), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late James Russell Plouder; cherished daughter of the late Laurence and H. Jane Schenck. Devoted mother of Jennifer (Kyle) Baxter, Brenda (S.O. Ray Singleton) Brown, and the late James Laurence Plouder; loving grandmother of Stephanie (S.O. Justin Bryant) Brown, Frank Brown, Allison (S.O. Chris Berardino) Brown, William Brown, Teal Blythe, Jeremy Paul, Jacob Paul, Jett Paul, Justin LeCroy, Duelly Singleton and Sara Singleton; treasured great-grandmother of Gavin Brown, Riley and Jordin Berardino, Emmalyn Bryant, Scarlett Brown, Lillian Herr, Gracelynn Gutierrez, Charles Edgar, and two on the way; dear sister of Russ (Jo) Schenck and the late Carol Schenck; best friend of Donna Opsahl,
Helen was a member of Hunting Creek Craft Club and the Red Hat Society. She was a homemaker for 31 years. Then she went to work for Grace Hills Settlement House in socials services and worked herself up to office manager. Helen loved crafts and flowers, and especially loved her family. "May the good Lord watch and keep you until we meet again." Helen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
