Helen Genevieve Wood

Helen Genevieve Wood (nee Parker), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Gerald Arnold Wood; cherished daughter of the late Vessie Alonzo Parker and the late Leta Margaret Wisdom; devoted mother of Greg (Nicole) Wood, and the late Pam Terbrock; loving grandmother of Caelan, Mackenzie, and Aidan Wood; treasured great grandmother of Shyloe Raine Terbrock; dear sister of Janetta Parker. Helen was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Sean, and Jill Terbrock, and three sisters, Louise, Lee, and Geraldine.
Helen, originally from Salem, Missouri, relocated to St. Louis in the 1960s, where she crossed paths with Jerry, her lifelong partner, and together they nurtured their family. She dedicated over two decades to serving customers at the jewelry counter of Sam's Club, finding joy in her work. Her presence was cherished, and her memory will be deeply cherished by those whose lives she touched.

Memorials may be made in Helen's name to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
