Helena G. Goessling

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Masses. Helena Goessling, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the age of 86. Dearest wife of the late Edward F. Goessling, Sr.; dear daughter of the late George and Hester Steer; cherished mother of Edward (Sherryl) Goessling, Jr., Chris Goessling, Linda (Thomas) Barondeau, Gary (Karen) Goessling, Larry (Dawn) Goessling, James P. Goessling, Gail (Thomas) Burke and Joan (Tim) Matlock; beloved grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 10. Helen was a beloved aunt, cousin and friend to all who knew her. She is also survived by her beloved pets, Daisy 1 and Daisy 2. She is preceded in death by her brother, Arthur C. Steer. Helena was a Substitute Teacher with the St. Charles School District for 10 years before her retirement, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, League of Women Voters and enjoyed camping.
