Helene Marie Jacobson (nee Oakland), of Weldon Spring, MO, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Herbert Jacobson; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Alice Oakland. Devoted mother of Suzanne (Stephen) Bruce; loving grandmother of Sydney Bruce and Sadie Bruce; dear sister of Leonard Oakland; dear friend of John Parks; treasured aunt of Jordy Oakland.
Helene was a church secretary and volunteer for King of Kings Lutheran Church for 36 years. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and was involved in many volunteer projects at church and for the community. Helene also enjoyed traveling. She grew up in Chicago working for her parents and grandparents' grocery store. Helene was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
