Henry A. Loeffler, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 66 years to Loretta C. Loeffler (nee Tipp); cherished son of the late Aloys and Gertrude Loeffler. Henry is survived by nine children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, three godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by 11 siblings and was a friend to many.
Henry proudly served in the United States Army and Missouri National Guard. He dedicated many years as a carpenter for H.E. Grau and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1987 with a 50-year pin.
Henry was a man of great faith which he instilled to his family. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he also assisted with maintenance. In his free time, Henry enjoyed playing Bingo and BBQing. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Henry had a green thumb and could grow anything. Above all, he was devoted to God and his family. He was a supportive and proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious smile and humble personality. Henry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
