Henry William Deuser, of Saint Charles Missouri, took his first breath of life, on September 24th, 1947, and 76 years later, on August 25th, 2024, the same day as his beloved mothers birthday, he took his last.
Henry was raised by his stepfather and mother, William “Boots” and June “Dee-Dee” Deuser, both of whom have preceded him in death. Henry was proud to be the oldest brother in his family and is leaving behind his little sisters Donna (Kenny) Callahan, Sally (Ronnie) Porter and brothers Roger (Jean) Deuser, and David Deuser.
He will be forever missed by his two devoted daughters Lisa (Thomas) Herrick and Vanessa (Jason) Bailey. His loving grandchildren Hannah Ross, Ryan (Samanatha) Bailey, Hailey Ross, Hope Ross, Robert (Jessica) Lewis, and Marissa (Jeffrey) Noonan, and his great-grandchildren Makenzii, Miya, Maleayah, Nevaeh, Brooklyn, Nysai, Nyani, and Etta. All of whom were his pride and joy.
Along with those listed above, Henry leaves behind his best dog Loki, countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he considered family.
Henry was a jack of all trades who lived a full life. He did everything from playing darts, horseshoes, racing cars, riding motorcycles, and boating down the Mississippi river to growing tomatoes, playing with his grandkids, and cruising around town. He always had an answer, a solution, or the directions to where ever you needed to go. His favorite days were spent sitting in the sunshine by the river listening to talk radio or the baseball game, a diet Pepsi, and lottery ticket in hand. He was steadfast in his devotion to his family, never missing a celebration, holiday, game, or milestone. No matter the occasion he could always be counted on to show up for those who loved him most.
He was a simple man who appreciated the little things life had to offer. Always honest and generous - except for when it came to his daughters chocolate chip cookies, which he would sneak in his pockets every holiday. He always had a story to tell, knowledge to share, and love to give. He was the best father and grandfather imaginable.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in Henry’s name for a memorial bench through St. Charles Parks at his favorite place.
