Henry “Hank” Koeneman, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Emma Koeneman; cherished son of the late Henry and Esther Koeneman. Devoted father of James Koeneman, Debra (Michael) Wills, and David Koeneman; loving grandfather of Jessica Reisig, Craig (Angela) Wills, Andrew Wills, Matthew Wills, Alexis Carr, Daniel Koeneman, and Chasity Koeneman; treasured great-grandfather of Maybrie, Connor, Colson, and Sophia. Preceded in death by his brother, Martin (Ruth) Koeneman.
Hank was married to the love of his life for 59 years, and together they enjoyed traveling, especially taking bus tours after retirement. A natural storyteller, he had a knack for working with his hands and loved staying busy. He volunteered as an usher at his church and dedicated many years as a firefighter. Hank had a great sense of humor, was witty, and always had a story to share. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, had a passion for model trains, and took pride in his yard work. A social and supportive father, he was always there for his family. Whether tinkering with projects or lending a helping hand, Henry found joy in staying active and giving back to those around him. Hank was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Hank's name to Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester.
