Henry Martinez

Martinez, Henry E., of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of St. Louis, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Rita Rose Martinez NEE: Reinhardt; beloved son of the late Francesco and Consuelo Martinez; devoted father of Mark D. (Donna) Martinez, Rebecca T. (Johnny) Johnston and Rita A. (Byron) Frazier; cherished grandfather of 12; treasured great-grandfather of 22 with 3 on the way; dear brother of Frank, Jorge, John and Ophelia; he is survived by many nieces, nephews, and many many friends in Missouri and Florida. He is preceded in death by his son, John L. Martinez. Henry was an active longtime member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. He was a member of the Englewood Elks Lodge and a 3rd and 4th Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus in St. Louis Missouri. Henry enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, traveling, vacationing and most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Masses to the church.
