Henry V. "Hank" Bandini, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the age of 97.
Loving husband to the late Chescia "Ches" Bandini. Devoted father to five children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Hank was a WWII Combat Veteran and a U.S. Navy aircrewman participating in over 30 airstrikes during the invasion of Iwo Jima and the Ryukyu Islands in 1945.
Following his honorable discharge, he became a Master Electrician and a dedicated lifelong member of IBEW Local Union #1, St. Louis, MO. He was a 50-year member of the Hanley Hills Optimist Club, American Legion Post 313, and VFW Post 2866 in St. Charles County.
His hobbies included a love of fishing, Sunday afternoon BBQs, tinkering with home repairs, and assisting friends and others with local community service projects.
An unrecognized genius who possessed unblemished integrity and honor, Hank was loved by all and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
