Herbert E. Jacobs

Herbert E. Jacobs of Foristell, MO, passed away at the age of 79 on Saturday, December 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Norma Jacobs; and his brother, Raymond Jacobs.

Herbert is survived by his beloved wife, Glenda Jacobs; his children, Wallace (Mary Jane) Jacobs, Kelly Woodfin, and Kimberly (Ronald) Lantrip; his grandchildren, Christopher Woodfin, Jessica Jacobs, Brianna (Wesley) Gray, Hunter Jacobs, Jessica Wood, Gena Lantrip, and Amber Lantrip; his great-grandchildren, Liam, Remington, Kimora, Ka'myiah, Leonna, Nina, and Christopher; and his sister, Shirley (Clarence) White.

Herbert was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served his country during the Vietnam War. He later retired as a firefighter after serving in the Pattonville Fire Department. Herbert found friends and community with several local organizations such as American Legion Post #323 in Wentzville, Wentzville Masonic Lodge #46 AF&AM, and VFW Post #5347. For fun, Herbert liked to spend his time outside through fishing, hunting, or golfing. He took pride in maintaining his yard and garden. Herbert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Herbert’s name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
