Herschel A. Vance of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of 29 years to Melissa A. Vance; cherished son of the late Herschel M. and LaDean Vance; devoted father of Eric (Colleen) Vance, Jennifer Vance, and Herschel “Buster” Vance; loving grandfather of Casey, Paige, Raven, Keith Jr., Tyler, Summer, and Sammi; and step-brother of Kellie Vance and Gary Palmer. Herschel is preceded in death by his son Keith Allen Vance, his brother Stanley Vance, and step-brother Steve Palmer.
Herschel devoted more than 25 years to floor installation and was a member of Union Local 1310 over 29 years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family. Herschel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to the family to ease final expenses.
