Hilda J. Ellsworth (nee Maze), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the age of 87.
Loving mother of Dennis Clyde (Sherry) Ellsworth, Deborah Hallam, Karen Ellsworth, Lori Ellsworth, Robert Ellsworth; devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Minnie Maze, and her sons, Gary Michael Ellsworth and Harold Wayne Ellsworth.
Hilda was typically the quiet one, but she always loved to laugh. She was a very hard worker all her life, working multiple jobs while raising her seven children. Hilda was raised Baptist in Dexter, Missouri. Her favorite bible verse was Matthew 17:20, the faith of a mustard seed. Hilda’s faith was strong and with it, she was devoted to her family. Hilda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
