Hilda Marie Ackenhausen

Ackenhausen, Hilda M., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Milton Alfred Ackenhausen; beloved daughter of the late Percy and Olga Winscott; devoted mother of James E. (Janet) Ackenhausen and Robert C. (Nancy) Ackenhausen; cherished grandmother of Douglas R. (Maggie) Ackenhausen, Thomas C. (Shannon) Ackenhausen, and James W. (Samantha) Ackenhausen; treasured great-grandmother of Connor Ackenhausen, Madalynn Ackenhausen, Hunter Ackenhausen, Aiden Ackenhausen, and Ethan Ackenhausen. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Meyers and her brother Charles (Peggy) Winscott. She is preceded in death by her brother Milton Winscott.
Hilda worked for the Army Corp of Engineers during WWII. After the birth of her second son, she became a salesperson for Easter ling China and Silver, as well as a top real estate agent. She made many lifelong friends.
