Memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans. Masters, Homer L., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the age of 89. Dearest husband of the late Marcella Masters; dear son of the late Henry Arthur and Ollie Ellen Masters; devoted father of Ronald Masters, Kathleen (Ed) Woods and Carol Reeder; beloved grandfather of Scott, Jennifer, Angela, Heather, Jamie, Nicole Sarah, Michelle and Kevin; great-grandfather of Jacob, Lucas, Rachel, Megan Mackenzie and Logan; dear brother of Ora Masters, Pauline Green and the late Bessie May Masters Slinkard, Grace Irene Masters Berry Jones Fears, William Albert Masters, Mary Catherine Masters Kilhafner, Walter Franklin Masters, Norman Gilbert Masters and Nellie Ada Masters Plumb. He was our loving uncle, cousin and friend. He was employed as a Sheet Metal Worker at McDonnell Douglas for 32 years before his retirement. He was a member of American Legion and a WWII Veteran, Pearl Harbor survivor having served in the U.S. Navy.
