Nowell, Ida Blanche, of Bridgeton, Missouri, died on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the age of 91. Beloved daughter of the late Gilbert and Ida Mae Steers; devoted mother of Carol Ann (Mike) Hodge; loving grandmother of Joyce (Bill) Skaggs and Eric (Jennifer) Peterson; treasured great-grandmother of Justin, Lyddia, and Joshua Skaggs, Austin and Averi Peterson. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Coy F. McGowan; her second husband, Harry L. Nowell and siblings Glenda Gipson, Anna Dorthula "Thula" Arnett, Jessie Williams, Ruth Wilson, Earl Steers, George Steers, Oswald Steers, May Belle Steers and Harris Steers. Cherished step-mother of Barbara "Babs" (Virgil) Hill and Patty Stroker; dearest step-grandmother of Jim (Dorothy) Hill, Stacey (Michael) Pederson and Stacey Milligan; dear step-great-grandmother of Michael and Mackenzie Hill, Sarah Smith, Brittany (Myles) Pool, Noelle Himmes, Faith and Gavin Pederson; dear step-great-great-grandmother of Mayson Pool.
