Ida Mae Kopf

Ida Mae Kopf (nee O'Brien), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Richard H. Kopf; cherished daughter of the late Isabelle and Matthew O'Brien; devoted mother of Bob Kopf, Kenneth Kopf, Carol (Dan) Vivian, and Cherie (Lee) Bouquet; loving grandmother of Richard J Kopf, Ginger Zavala, William Kopf, Cathy Cornell, Melinda Schenk, Jessie Valleroy, Charles Bouquet, Andrew Vivian, and Jennifer Vivian; precious great grandmother of Cason, Audrey, Clara, Lucas, Logan, Jackson, Everett, Lilly, Harrison, Addelyn, Elijah, Colton, Abigal, and Lincoln.

Ida exuded warmth and kindness, serving as a comforting presence for anyone experiencing a challenging day. Her ability to uplift spirits made her the go-to person during tough times. Ida dedicated herself to charitable endeavors with both the American Cancer Society and Assumption Catholic Church. Her profound love for her grandchildren was evident through the affectionate spoiling she bestowed upon them regularly. Ida's endearing nature touched the hearts of those around her, and her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
