Ione “Mickey” Masterson

Masterson, Ione "Mickey", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late James S. Masterson; beloved daughter of the late James and Alvina Henderson; devoted mother of Patricia (Romeo) Dubois, Peggy (Ron) Hoff, and Mary (John) DuBois; cherished grandmother of Catherine (Gerald Howell) DuBois, Elizabeth (Erick) Brunelle, Romeo (Laura Sulem) DuBois, Victoria (Kenneth) Roach, Kim and Ronnie Hoff, David (Pamelia) Wren, Tim (Julie) Hoff, Genevieve Bodnar, David Bodnar, Peter (Shawna) DuBois, and Alexander DuBois; treasured great-grandmother of 21; dear sister of Eileen (the late Harry) Kasden and William (Sue) Henderson. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law David E. Wren and sister-in-law Ruth Henderson. She was a member of American Legion Lady's Aux. Mickey was a talented quilter, artist, an excellent cook, and enjoyed writing children's books as well. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Parkinson's Foundation.
