Isle, Irene Anne (nee: Hayob), fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, March 1, 2015. Born October 10, 1923 in Marshall, MO to the late Frank and Fannie Hayob; devoted wife of 46 years of Stan Isle (who preceded her in death in 1989); loving mother of Vicki (Gary) Utech, Connie (Doug) Schill, Anita (Mike) Sievers, Jan (John) Hamilton, Mary Beth (John) Stimac; caring grandmother of fifteen and great-grandmother of nineteen; dearest sister of Betty Wlascinski and Mary (Jim) Landram; beloved mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, neighbor, friend and mother-figure to many.
Irene was a full time homemaker and mother for most of her life in Moberly, MO and Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She later worked at Spiegel Catalogue and Zykan Brothers, both in St. Louis County. After the death of her husband she moved to St. Charles County where she resided until the time of her death. She was an active volunteer both in her church (St. Cletus Catholic Church) and her community (Meals on Wheels, St. Patrick's Center and local food pantries).
Irene's Legacy is her loving family which was her greatest source of pride. Her radiant smile and caring nature will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
An interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Moberly, MO on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 12:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne Prairie on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations in Irene's honor be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
