Irene Frances “Reenee” Haferkamp

Haferkamp, Irene Frances “Reenee,” (nee: Knott), of Hazelwood, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the age of 62, beloved wife of Earl William “Bill” Haferkamp; cherished daughter of the late Carl C. and Pauline A. Knott; loving mother of Joshua William Haferkamp and the late Carla Nicole Haferkamp; dear sister of John (Pat) Knott, Tony (Paula) Knott and the late Carol Ann Abernathy (Jim) and sister-in-law; devoted niece and goddaughter of Toni Scott; loving godmother of Kelly Wolfe, C.J. Abernathy, and Amanda Knott. Irene is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Reenee and Bill were married for 38 wonderful years. She enjoyed baking, collecting music boxes, and butterflies. Reenee also loved to sing at weddings and other special occasions. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to the local chapters of the American Cancer Society or the American Kidney Foundation.
