Irene A. Schoendienst

Irene Anne Schoendienst (nee Budde), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of 73 years to Joseph L. Schoendienst; cherished daughter of the late Bernard Budde and Elizabeth Budde (nee Huelsmann). Devoted mother of Tom (Margarette) Schoendienst, Don (Jan) Schoendienst, Jerry (Donna Whitaker) Schoendienst, JoAnn (Mike) Morrison, and Jim (Lisa) Schoendienst; loving grandmother of Melinda (Jon) Hood, Liz (John) McCanna, Ashley Hardebeck, Danny (Allison) Schoendienst, Matthew Morrison, and Melissa (Scott) Miller; 10 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two grandchildren, Nick Schoendienst, Eric Chambers, and her siblings.

Irene was born and baptized in the Catholic Faith. She found happiness in both her travels and the joy of cooking for loved ones. Her explorations allowed her to appreciate the beauty of different places, while her culinary skills transformed ordinary gatherings into memorable meals. Irene's warm spirit and kindness left a lasting impact, creating a sense of love and connection among those fortunate enough to share in her adventures and delicious meals. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who loved and cherished her.
