Irvin M. Milner

Irvin M. Milner, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the age of 92.  He was preceded by his loving wife, Margaret E. Milner (nee Sona).  Beloved father of Irvin Richard Milner, Bruce (Mary) Milner, Timothy (Julie) Milner, former State Representative Vicki Schneider, Gary Milner, and Bob (Connie) Lile; loving grandfather of 12; cherished great grandfather of 24, and great-great grandfather of 2.  Irvin was also preceded in death by his parents, Cecelia and Joseph D. Milner. 

Irvin was employed by the City of O'Fallon Parks Department for many years.  He loved working there, and when he retired, he said he missed his co-workers the most.  He loved fishing in his pond and going to the Lake of the Ozarks with his family to fish there as well.  He enjoyed playing poker at the “Boat” with his wife.  In his younger years, Irvin played softball and coached his children's softball & soccer teams.  

Irvin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irvin's name to Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County.  

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1390 Josephville Rd., Wentzville, MO 63385, with a luncheon immediately following.
