Beloved wife of the late William Henry Hanson; loving mother of Rebecca R. Couvion, William Lee Hanson (Evalyn), Larry C. Payne (Shirley) and the late Robert W. Payne, Lola Payne Richey and John D. Payne; dear mother-in-law of Delores Payne and Judi Payne; proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and over 30 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Ollie Showers, sister, Ruth Tilsley and brothers, Harry Showers and Clifford Treadway. Mrs. Hanson was an active member of The First Baptist Church of St. Charles. She loved to crochet and sew, especially stuffed animals.
