Kamp, Iva Mae (nee Branson), of Florissant, MO, passed away on Friday December 2, 2016, at the age of 98. Loving wife of the late Wilburt H. Kamp, devoted mother of Gary R. (Carla) Kamp, dear sister of Faye Beasley, cherished grandmother of William R. (Sarah) Kamp; treasured great-grandmother of Hazel M. Kamp, Annabel V. Kamp, and Scarlett G. Kamp. She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Lelah Branson; her sisters, Irva McBee, Jean Beasley, and Wilma Hull; her brothers, Herman Branson, and Roy E. Branson.
Iva worked at Century Electric Company as a line supervisor during WWII. From 1947 to 1966, Iva and her husband, Wilburt, owned and operated Kamp’s Confectionary on Kienlen Avenue in Wellston, Missouri. From 1966 to 1989, Iva worked as a commercial bank teller for Boatmen’s Bank in downtown St. Louis.
