Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Gold, Jack, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, died on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the age of 91. Dearest husband of the late Daisy Lee Gold; dear son of the late Issica and Rose Gold; devoted father of Connie L. (Glenn) Dolan; beloved grandfather of Glennda Blackshear, Jackie Ramey and Aaron Dolan; great-grandfather of Emily, Alex, Olivia, Ryan and Megan; dear brother of Charlotte DePaul and Freida Douglas; dear brother-in-law of Jim Yelton and Babe Sisk, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him He is preceded in death by brothers, Frank Gold, Herman Gold, Sam Gold and David Gold, his sisters, Jeanette Brown, Bea Cordi and Dorothy Parc. Jack was employed as a Manager at 905 Liquor Stores. He was a member of the St. Louis County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame and a former owner of Castus Inn Tavern, Overland, Missouri. He served in the US Army during WWII as a S.Sgt and was a recipient of 5 Bronze Stars.
