Jack Martorelli of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 78 on Thursday, August 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick (Erma) Martorelli and Patricia (Clarence) Curtis.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret "Madge" Martorelli; his children, Dennis Martorelli, Gina (John) Knoll, and Angela Martorelli; his grandchildren, Jack, Luke, and Max Knoll and Brenly and Jacob Amick; his siblings, Linda Martorelli and Nick (JoAnn) Martorelli; brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Jack proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was an amazingly philanthropic man who dedicated much of his life to leading and participating in many local area organizations. Jack had the distinction of being a founding member of Guns ‘N Hoses, President of the St. Louis Port Council, Board Member of Paralyzed Veterans of America, and a Board of Directors member of Backstoppers.
He was an Executive Board Member of multiple labor organizations, the former President and Business Manager of Operating Engineers Local #513, and a successful entrepreneur as owner of Martorelli Consulting Services, LLC.
Faith was important to Jack and he found strength in God as a parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church. Jack was incredibly devoted to his family, loved them dearly, and treasured all the memories they made together over the years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
