Jack R. Cassidy

Jack R. Cassidy passed away on Thursday December 7, 2017, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 61 wonderful years to Carole Cassidy; cherished son of the late George and Ruth Cassidy; devoted father of Kathy (Gary) Freeman, John Michael (Monica) Cassidy and the late Ernie Cassidy; loving grandfather of Shawn (Brett) Baker, Heather Deranja, Ernie (Nan) Deason, Zach (Kathleen) Freeman, Cole Freeman, Gabby Cassidy, and Jack Cassidy, Jr.; treasured great-grandfather of Robby Baker, Jessica Baker, Dylan Baker, Bella Baker, Hannah Deranja, Alyssa Deranja, Rachel Deason, Sydney Deason, Tammy Deason, Charlotte Kaiser and Camden Freeman. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Chrissy Cassidy.

Jack proudly served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was a great pool player. Jack was a jokester, with a wonderful sense of humor, and will be remembered as a wonderful listener who was very easy to talk to, with a natural gift for putting newcomers at ease. He also loved spending time with his family, and was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project.

There will be an open house to celebrate Jack's life on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the home of his daughter, Kathy Freeman, from 5-7pm.
