Jacob “Jake” Dougherty

Jacob “Jake” Dougherty, of Wright City, MO, entered into rest Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 41. Beloved husband of Rachel Dougherty; devoted father of Cash and Trace Dougherty; cherished son of Rose and the late Philip Dougherty; dear son-in-law of Kathy (Fred) Hann-Walker and Joe Resimius; dear brother of Levi Norwood, Maxine (John) Lentz, Rachael (Nick) Waters, Becky Gilbreath, Ruth (Jason) Knight and the late Sarah Dougherty; brother-in-law of Stephanie Resimius and Stephen (Maagen) Resimius; Jacob is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Jake was a man of faith and loved God. He enjoyed fishing, watching Western movies, and above all loved spending time with his boys. They were his everything. He worked in telecommunications for over 20 years. He was a very kind and generous man who never knew a stranger and would do anything for anyone. Jake will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
