Jacqueline J. Mahnken

June 27, 1931 — May 6, 2015

Jacqueline J. Mahnken (nee: Bidleman) of St. Charles, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Delmar V. Mahnken; cherished daughter of the late John R. and Lena Bidleman; devoted mother of Glenn (Laura) Mahnken; loving grandmother of Ben Mahnken and Curtis (Ashley) Mahnken; treasured sister of the late Kenneth Bidleman and the late Carl Christiansen. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a myriad of friends and neighbors.
Jackie was the church secretary for Our Savior Lutheran Church for many years, where she also served as a Sunday school teacher and was the original Den Mother of Den 1 Cub Scout Troop #975. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she served as president of the Mother's Club. In her early year's Jackie loved to bowl and golf. These hobbies were later replaced by fishing and spending time with her family at their lake home. She was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She absolutely loved to attend-and refused to miss-any of her grandson's sporting events. She was always there to cheer them on.
For forty years, Jackie's husband, Del, was her loving caretaker. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to all of her caretakers over the years.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lutheran High School of St. Charles.
