Jacqueline Jean Schumpe, 80
Jacqueline was granted her angel wings on March 16, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by friends at Carrington Place in St. Charles, where she had resided for the past 19 months.
At her request, a private funeral service will be held.
Jacqueline was born to John and Hildegard Messner on December 7, 1934. On August 23, 1952 she married Robert A. Schumpe. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Her interests included farming, gardening, watching old movies, and an occasional trip to the casino. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her mother and husband. She was a loving friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made to St. Peters Catholic Church or Masses.
