James A. (aka “Santa”) Cullen

Cullen, James A. (aka “Santa”), of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at the age of 85. Loving husband to the late Lillian M. Cullen; father to MaryRose Cullen, Elizabeth M. (John T.) Vorbeck, Kathleen M. (Thomas M.) Meier, and Ann M. (Gerald A.) Rothwiel; grandfather to Candice and Dylan Vorbeck, and Lisa M. Cullen; great-grandfather to Kayla Hoffman, Dustin and Reanna Hayden. He is preceded in death by his son, James A. Cullen, Jr. and his brothers, Robert, Francis and Stephen Cullen.

Jim was “Santa” in the St. Louis Thanksgiving Day parade for 15 plus years while he worked as a greeter at Sam’s Club. He previously worked and retired from New York Life Insurance Co. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army and he was a graduate of St. Francois University. James “Santa” will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
